I used to love our short weekends together or the quick visits we'd sneak in. You'd have us cuddled up with hot chocolate by the fireplace. We'd hurry to get sledding in before you left. Or, we'd throw a few snowballs around and laugh together. We'd always tell you how pretty we thought you were and how much fun you brought us. We've had so many good times over the years...
Becoming roommates though, that seems to have changed everything. Sadly, we don't seem to have the relationship I thought we had. You're personality has become dark and ugly. You've started coming in during the wee morning hours and disrupting everyone's schedule. You make us all late in the morning. You don't help around the house or even clean up after yourself. I find traces of you everywhere. The plants and animals are very unhappy with the havoc you cause. Freezing pipes and hoses, well, that's just inexcusable to a farm family.
I must ask you to leave. We can try a visit again next year, after you've had a chance to reflect on your behavior. I really do hope our friendship can be repaired. Until then, I wish you all the best.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
